World Wildlife Day 2021

3 March – World Wildlife Day - Celebrated in 2021 as the theme "Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet". This years theme is aimed at highlighting the crucial role forests, forest species and their ecosystems services in sustaining the livelihoods of hundreds of millions of people globally. The use of satellite-based remote sensing capabilities are ever expanding making it possible to monitor management practices occurring at any part of the Planet in a timely manner and assist in decision forestry decision making.
