6th Swiss Re Agricultural Workshop
Swift Geospatial was proud to be part of the 6th Swiss Re Agricultural Insurance Conference held in Nairobi, Kenya on the 11th to 14th of July 2018. This event brings together leaders in technology innovation with African insurance companies to better understand the needs and requirements of the industry.
The conference was aimed towards technology and innovation within the Agriculture Insurance Industry and Swift Geospatial was asked to be apart of the conference and present our solutions. This was a tremendous honour to be recognised within the insurance community.
Technology and innovation is a key component in all areas within the insurance industry, having the ability to keep an eye on your clients’ assets and more so to provide valuable insight towards assessments using the latest in satellite and unmanned aerial vehicle data. These assessments provide actionable intelligence to that state of crop/plantation and more so in assisting with claims/pay-outs. Below is an image of James Saunders from Swift Geospatial presenting at the conference where he showed the audience Swift Geospatial’s capabilities in satellite monitoring using the latest in satellite technology.
Being able to rub shoulders with some of the world’s leading remote sensing technology and insurance companies and exchange ideas and thoughts has truly been amazing.
